A normal temperature of your baby is between 36,5 °C and 37,5 °C. If the temperature is around 36,5 °C, it is often enough to put on a cap and lay an extra jug in the bed. If the temperature is around 37,5 °C, get the cap off and possibly remove extra blankets or a jug. If the temperature goes below 36,5 °C or above 37,5 °C, contact your midwife – also in the evening or at night. You and your midwife will decide what has to be done. Most of the times you will receive advice for how to get the temperature back to normal. If necessary, the midwife can always discuss this with the general practitioner.
